How to adapt to COVID-19 crisis and not to ruin study plans? (notes for future students)

We know how everyone is bothered with the current situation and it can influence on further planned studies. Yes, the whole world economy is somehow suspended and the situation does not look very nice at the moment but we are sure that at the beginning of the study year the situation will improve and that is why you should not give up the previous plans

  • Stick to your original plan.

University application is not an easy and quick process so go ahead and apply. You will need some documents and again it takes times to get them. In some countries you may get these documents online (you are lucky in this case), in some countries only in person (and it will take even more time then). So April is high time to choose the place to study and apply there. And we are sure that most Universities this year will postpone the deadline for application, but still be in a hurry.

  • Postpone your studies till further notices.

If you are still short in time because of some circumstances, please remember that many Universities have winter intake. You will surely have enough time for passing your language exams and getting your certificate IELTS, PTE Academic or TOEFL (if you still do not have any). At the same time keep in mind that visa process can take up to 3 months even with ready package of documentation.

  • Study online.

Online is the best option right now in times of pandemic. You will need just internet connection and your mobile device or computer to start studies. And your high motivation to study of course. Online studies can be adapted to your study pace and can be started quite often – i.e. every month. And often it is cheaper than classical studies! Great option!

  • Keep self-learning.

It is quite difficult to self study at home as all the time you get distracted by your family or pets. But this is great to study only the things that really interest you and out of which you may get profit immediately. You may even get a new specialization quite quickly and start working remote! Or your current employer will surely appreciate your new skills and knowledge and can raise up your salary when you return to your work.
